Radiohead recorded demos for Ok Computer at Chipping Norton Recording Studios in Oxfordshire in early 1996.They started rehearsing and recording in their Canned Applause studio, a converted shed near Didcot, Oxfordshire, in July. The majority of the album was recorded between September and October 1996 at St Catherine's Court, a country mansion near Bath, Somerset.
